It's not unplayable, mind you, but it's like the actions are choppy and it is difficult to get precise movement or a steady flow in action. Yet even a small lag in time can make a big difference between making sure your party is going to survive or not or, in my case, whether your logging attempt ends in success or failure.
So I was wondering: is it them or is it me? If it's me, then that might mean I might have to try to find a better video card for this system... which I wouldn't mind doing, but it's also a possibility that this is common on the server in general. What with Besaid being one of the most populated and all.
Oh, and in case it helps, here are my specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, T6600 @ 2.20 GHz
4 GB RAM
64-bit OS
So far it's been good on FFXI, WoW and a lot of other smaller MMOs, but I do realize FFXIV is a whole new school of fish, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's me.

Also, how do you know what your FPS is? I know people have said this but I didn't know that was an option...
At this point the 'easiest' thing to do is just upgrade your video card, if you can. That's easier said than done, but it's possible.
