I just want to add that I had Comcast as a provider for years and my experience with them was positive throughout. There will always be problems with service interruptions (the last stretch of your internet connection is literally running through your neighborhood suspended 15' above the ground by dead trees), but their service was about as prompt as you could expect, their customer service was helpful, and when I had real issues they always came through with an account credit.
I know other people have had really bad experiences with Comcast, and they're the butt of a lot of jokes, but I just wanted to point out that isn't everyone's experience
I'm sure that connection is fast enough for gaming, you should be just fine!
