I only emote the ears of my Miqo'te when it can emphasize a certain action or give outward evidence of inner workings (specifically, my Miqo'te's ear twitches when she's thinking really hard). Anything else is redundant. The ears and tail are right there, in-game, doing stuff. I don't need to tell you they're there to remind you I am a catgirl and be teh bestest catgirl arpeer.
