
I try to focus on the body language I feel would happen naturally with Lyrik since she wasn't raised around other Miqo'te. Certain learned signals like hissing or purring are not something she would have learned. More so, small motor movements like ear rotation, tail twitching or fur standing up that are reflexes are included in her emotes.
I chose to play a Miqo'te because I work with animals and have a very clear understanding of cat body language. It's fun for me to bring that knowledge to a character that is not very in touch with her "feline" side.
