But if you need lore help feel free to send me a PM on here or make a thread with your questions. ^^ But like Warren said, if you want to err on the side of caution until you're more comfortable with the lore, just keep things vague. Seems to work for most roleplayers.
For RP hubs, Ul'dah and the Quicksand are the most concentrated, but you can also find RP happening in Limsa and out in the world sporadically. Making connections and attending public events is really one of the best ways to get in on some RP if you find the Quicksand too daunting or just not your cup of tea.
