The only advice I will give is that "jack of all trades, master of none" is an expression for a reason! Someone who dedicates their time and energy to learning to everything has none left over to learn to master something. Furthermore in RP, being a master at everything is overpowered and kinda Mary Sue. That being said, having your character dabble in a bit of everything is perfectly fine, just remember he can't be great at everything!
