Oh god, I hope this is in the right place.
So despite my tendency to be horribly nervous about roleplaying in general (especially in MMOs), I've decided to take the plunge and try my hand at joining the community here.
A little about me: I also play WoW (and SWTOR), and while I have about nine years of roleplaying experience on there, I don't have any in FFXIV. This is something that I really want to change, as I'm really enjoying the game. The roleplaying community (from what I've seen on these forums) seems to be very welcoming as well, which is encouraging.Â
As it stands, I'm working on getting a better grasp on the lore and setting before I start seriously delving into things, but I thought that reaching out might be a good idea. In addition, I'm pretty low-level (almost 24 in my first class), so getting more gameplay experience is probably for the best as well.
(I also like to raid sometimes, and I plan to in the future, but that's neither here nor there.)
If anyone's inclined to hit me up, I'm on Balmung as Arcian Martell, and I always welcome friendly conversation or advice.
