Precisely this, I don't even play male characters and I was genuinely disappointed when I noticed that girls could wear female and male wedding clothes, but males couldn't wear the bridesmaid clothing. Like we don't even need to delve into social justice to be bummed at this, it still sucks to see a bunch of characters get so one-sided-ly locked out of options. And of course if one does delve into social justice they would find even more good reasons to be bummed.
