Ready to hear the biggest noob mistaken that FFXIV has ever seen or heard of???
So, I've never really got into the whole materia breaking down / melding etc. I figured I'd wait on all that till I hit 50.
But today I was curious and thought I'd start breaking down all the gear I had that was possible. So I just started going to town on everything, breaking down anything that I could......
Imagine my surprise when my dungeon qu poppedand all my gear was wipes out, switched to Gladiator, gear gone....
No warning whatsoever that I was breaking down gear that was in my gear sets.
Now, I only have 20,000 left to gear my 42 Bard class, and my level 40 Gladiator class all over again....
