With the Gilgy cap, try and bait him into placing Godbert in the middle right if you can. You can actually Plus BOTH Greg and 'Bert with Couerl in that case.
With the Y'shtola-bottom-left play, I vaguely remember having a tactic for that. I... THINK it was to place the Bomb in upper-mid as with one of the alt strats. That usually resulted in him playing something there I could use to Plus both it and Y'shtola with... Sabotender or Dodo, I think? Again, trying to recall stuff that had become muscle memory more than anything else.
