Of course, I'm not saying that "anyone who wants 6 stars and a red name" is in it for $105 a month. That's our total cost. 
Getting those stars is probably something that'd be more in the $1 to $5 a month range. If I can get 21 people to pledge $5 a month, then hey, we're paid for and chat will be on the way. 
As for one-time rewards, I do have some stuff in mind for that, too, and I'm also willing to let people "pre-pay" as opposed to "subscribing."
