The frozen treats here are pretty lacking (a bit too northern, I guess). We have a delicious place for snow cones, a few ice cream shops, a ton of frozen yogurt places with the recent craze, and our Coldstone Creamery closed after being open here for only a year or two (RIP Coldstone and all the weight I would have gained).
Buuuut, as for local dessert indulgences... we have a shop that makes gourmet Swiss chocolates and every special occasion becomes an opportunity to try to convince my boyfriend to buy me some chocolates *cough*. The chocolate covered strawberries they have in the summer are the best thing in the world.
