I remember you from the hayday when we were excited to read about the "shader" elezens, before they called us duskwights! 
It does all still blend together a bit, but RPers continue to run rampant (in a good way!) on Besaid and there are several linkshells devoted to RP.
1.19 is coming soon and there is a plethora of changes and improvements headed our way next week. It's still not without its flaws and I can appreciate that about the graphics card (really wish my laptop could play it...) but hopefully we'll see you again around Eorzea soon, hmm?
