Alright, I managed to read through that, though I did skim over Rain and Oskar's debate.
I speak as a LS leader- though NOT for my linkshell. They have their own opinions, and can voice it themselves.
Pretty much everything I thought was vital, has been covered. I'd just like to remind others that I am open to doing cross-LS events, in fact, I really, really, REALLY want to do them! It's pretty much why I created Alliance of Defiance. To clash with the various 'good' linkshells who aspire for peace and prosperity in Eorzea. Hehe. Of course, ground rules will need to be laid which I am willing to discuss. So far, only Kylin has approached me on this subject. (And I should probably get back to him on that..life escaped me for a bit).
so, just a reminder I am more than willing to get together with other RP groups.
That being said, if the RPC takes off again, you all can bet your hinies that I'll nudge my LS members who are not already on the RPC to join up. The most common deterrant it seems, is the fact there's just too many threads, most of which are inactive. Less is most certainly more, when your trying to find a specific event thread or discussion. Even I have a hard time navigating this site at times, it's unwieldy. Like trying to find a specific word in a dictionary that's not alphabetized.
Those are my thoughts for now- I'll come back and add more later if I see fit.
