Also take into account Monks. Who do manipulate Aether, albeit in a different manner to the mages, they also wear heavier armour than mages, (but lighter than tanks/Dragoons)
Actually, I'm a bit curious of those myself, Papa and Louis' metallic armors are very oddly colored. Â I'm theorizing that they possibly be made of special metal materials such as rose-gold, darksteel, or platinum.
