I was not aware of this, nor has it been a normal experience of mine SO since I was actively RPing with Clio when it happened, I made the assumption that it was IC and Oak went "Bwuh??? The hell just happened?" It is indeed a thing that happens! I know if I'm doing OOC stuff (Ixal dailies, checking my Golden Saucer ticket, etc) and I come across a person on my friend's list, I'll often give them a quick /poke or /hug before running off like some sort of hit-and-run cuddle-bunny.
