The sun beam down warm on the miqo'te, which caused a tired yawn to escape from him. He reach for the canister of water that he had gotten at the barracks. It has been days now since this last Grindstone yet John still felt as if he hadn't been able to recover his strength. He probably should be resting but...he had come across some writing by Sir Berrod and he really wanted to understand what the older man had written here. It seem that his tiredness was making the lines of words blur together. He allow his attention to be draw down to the ruins not far from Coffins.
He reach up pinching the bridge of his nose. His mind was too occupy it seem with thoughts and exhaustion. He manage to catch Warren after the Grindstone, and getting Judge to drive off 'those' summons that had started chasing him. "Those things were just wrong," he mutter to himself, a yawn escaping from him, before taking another sip of water. Warren confirm that Sei and Howl had safely left for the North. Warren also agree to allow him to join them...it the dragon wasn't dead. He also burn the picture of the dragon/highlander, though it unnerve him when the eyes were the last to burn.
John shook his head, fighting back another yawn, "No, no. Not going to think about the creature anymore." His mind switch over to the Grindstone, especially Sir Aaron's fights. Something had happen to the other man, something in the fight that shook him to the core, and that had him worried as well. In truth, he didn't know many of the other fighters, his ears lowering as he realize this. In many cases, he was having to do a quick heal to the winner and try to get the loser heal before they took off. It still needle at him that they wouldn't allow him or any of the other healer to check them out. He ignore the little voice that chime in that he had done the same thing several weeks ago.
He should see if he could fine Aaron, check on the older...man. John yawn again, wondering why he seem so tired. He should probably go back to Ul'dah...see if he could find...Aaron. He whistle, grabbing hold of the reins and pulling himself on to Safire. He just hope that he could make it back before the darkness at the edge of his vision closed in on him.
