She was very sheltered as a child and didn't really see her life going beyond just having a steady job at the barge. It was simple, paid well and really demanded most of her time, so it was easy to get lost in her work. But then her commanding officer came around, plucked her up for the war efforts and life has been one crazy roller coaster ever since. I mean, just the other day, she helped take down her very first dragon. How cray is that? As for Bea? I'm not convinced she ever was a child.
