Okay...on the one hand, people should wear whatever the hell they want. Â You like the shawl? Â Wear the shawl. Â Wear it and flaunt your abs in pride.
However, please don't make the statement that this sort of outfit is something someone would wear in the desert. Â It's the opposite of what someone would wear in the desert because all that outfit offers is dehydration and skin cancer. Â

If you're going for actual desert wear that offers more than dehydration and skin cancer (and perhaps even protects you from those things!), you're gonna want long, flowing, loose and light-colored clothing. Â And you want to keep your head and the back of your neck covered as much as possible.
