"Now, I am honored to introduce Lady Mirke. She has come to us with a story and more insight of our dear Navigator. Lady, the stage is yours."

Sounsyy Mirke makes her way out of the crowd to the front of the statue. She gives a soft prayer to the seagull and turns to bow to Jancis. Turning, she takes a step forward and bows before the gathered crowd.

"Greetings, followers of the Navigator. I am Storm Captain Mirke of the Maelstrom's 3rd Squadron."

"On behalf of the Thalassocracy of Limsa Lominsa, I welcome yeh to our shores, and hope yeh partake in the celebration of Llymlaen's continued benevolence to our waters."

"To our maritime people, She has gone by many names. Llymlaen, Navigator, Fisherwoman, Goddess of the Wind and Waves, Daughter of Time, Mother of Thalaos and Perykos."

"And there are as many stories of her glory that any Lominsan-born could tell yeh."

"In Limsa Lominsa, worshipers of Llymlaen venture upon a yearly pilgrimage, much like this one, beyond the city's Zephyr Gate to the twelve sacred sites of Llymlaen's Ascent."

"Each of these sites represents but a chapter of Her tale. And at each site, followers speak words of Her deeds. I would continue with this tradition."

"So often we speak of the Navigator's fury, Her power, Her glory for She like the Five Seas is both beautiful and terrible. It is why we mariners answer Her call..."

"...Fer we wish to be forged into Her image, beautiful and terrible! But I would speak of Llymlaen's mercy and Her love for life."

"The tale I find most pertinent today is one that begins seven-hundred years ago. There once existed a great navy, a veritable kingdom upon the seas."

"They believed that nothing was mightier than they. But a rival navy, one which these sailors of eld had never encountered, sought to remind them of their hubris."

"To remind them that the only true ruler of the Seas was the Great Navigator Herself. And as that once great navy began to fall, they fled and were chased into a storm."

"Their longship, the Galadion, fell victim to the Navigator's fury and all was thought lost!"

"But Llymlaen, even in the tempest of her wrath, spared the lives aboard this vessel. In a moment of clarity, the crew found their bearing through the storm."

"Though they were dashed upon the rocks and left fer dead, the Goddess had spared them and at once also reminded them of what their nation had forgotten."

"The lesson that our lives and fortunes are borrowed, and at any time - new life, new direction, new purpose can be found."

"The Navigator never steers wrong. We mariners follow Her guidance and example. Her fury, Her beauty, Her direction. Just as we place our trust in the Helmsmen of our vessels."

"Seven-hundred years hence, the descendents of that navy found new direction, building a home from the remains of the Galadion, the very ship upon which you all stand now!"
Cyneler Fenrir's eyes grow wide with awe upon seeing Sounsyy Mirke.

"We have grown from humble fishing village to merchant cove to pirate den to rise again as the foremost naval power in the world. Take to heart this lesson!"

"A life can always be transformed anew. Steel from bridges can be remade to craft navies. Pirates can become plowmen. Penniless merchants catch riches from the Sea's bounty."

"Llymlaen's legacy is one of rebirth, redirection, and restored faith. From the legends of Thalaos and Perykos, to the tale of the flattened flounder."
Sounsyy Mirke: "Be inspired by this example as we continue to give praise and offer song to the Navigator."

"Like it is writ upon the statue which graces the Anchor Yard behind me, 'Borne on high by wind divine, in the halls of the Twelve be heard'!"

"If yeh wish to stay yer course, or seek new direction, let yer prayers be heard this day. Perhaps yeh were directed 'ere already."

Sounsyy finishes speaking and gives the crowd a Storm Salute. After which she returns to her place and waits for the next speaker in line to begin.
"Thank yeh all, and enjoy the next performance."

Celeste hums quietly, clapping along with everyone else. "What a fascinating tale..." "Thank you, Lady!"
