On firearms: Lominsa seems to have some kind of open-bolt repeating rifle on their wall in that thundersticks place. Which leads me to wonder where exactly Eorzea is in it's firearms development.
Yeah. I think there are definitely a lot of options available for a larger array of firearms, and even suggestions of such dotted around the world. But honestly, I think the creators would be hard pressed to actually implement them. The gunner class was a stretch to begin with, and they had to make it some kind of engineering class, as welll?
