Nah I tried to download it right off the bat so nobody would guess my code and get it (yes im that paranoid with codes) and time I tried to play xiv it had error messages until I deleted it. I wasn't aware it was even available to download.  It's certainly not on the launcher, which is what I was talking about.  If you can download it on the launcher, it should be 100% safe and just won't be "on" until they flip the switch at headquarters.
