I'm just saying it's consistently been top ten in every "most wanted sequel" or "most wanted unreleased" list pretty much every time they make one (spurious). I don't know how many people played the originals, but it's not like nobody's ever owned a Dreamcast and an Xbox. Plenty of people have played the originals, whether on their native systems or via emulators. And Shenmue itself ain't exactly an unpopular title itself - it's consistently on "Greatest ever" lists, too.
