I do not think anyone cares about your character's level OOC. Granted it is easier to get a +50 character if you plan to join into the Ishgard roleplay, but that is completely up to you

No one is going to berate you if you are levelling over roleplaying; a lot of people are doing it currently. It is mostly you alone who has to pick between whether you feel like levelling or roleplaying, no on else!
