Just posting here to introduce myself. I am a newcomer to the Balmung server, and a newbie when it comes to roleplaying.
I have observed it in the past in various MMO games, just never really got involved. I am really enjoying my return to FFXIV. I played in 1.0 very briefly, as well as when 2.0 launched, but I did not stick around very long due to real world issues interfering.
Now that I have some free time, I am back and looking to try my hand at roleplaying. I am still brainstorming ideas for my character, but I hope to have something worth posting in the coming days.
For now I just figured I would say hello here in the welcome desk, and let folks know I am out there and willing to socialize!
Going to dig into the stickys now and see if I can find a good RP FC or Linkshell that is welcoming for folks new to RP, looking forward to meeting you all here and in game.
