I have played mmos for a hell of a long time and can tell you ..this game feels like it has the most lore ever..when I think I know it then I know nothing! (Or it feels to me). There are tons of threads and wikis on lore.  My best tip is lore is in the least places you'd think! There are a ton on items, in game during quests and even on the fish I catch.
