An interesting idea!
I'll hop aboard if only for the sake of potentially using this later on to bother SE into making an IC icon or something of the sort. (and wanting to get back into public RP more.)
While i'm unable to participate on the forums due to an ancient banning, i'd be more than happy to spread the information around if an official thread was created on the forums. I think this would provide quite the boon to people who are not on Balmung, but are still interested in the idea of roleplaying. (Of course the stigma attached to it will still exist but c'est la vie.)
