It really would take a large scale effort to make this a 'thing'. For science, I put the tag on earlier this evening and did some 'fishing' RP in the Quicksand, roleplaying individually with the goal to attract and start roleplay, rather that be the one to initiate it, and suffice to say, it did basically nothing, and I had no more (and no less?) RP than I would have received otherwise. That's why I tend to approach whenever I'm in a mood to actually RP, rather than just 'wait' for it to fall in my lap. Aside from a few flavor emotes to let people know I'm IC, that is.
But, that being said, I definitely agree with the people above, though. If we really want a 'tag' to identify ourselves as roleplayers, we should ask the development team/the producer. I've been told they actually listen to their playerbase/community, which seems (sadly) surprising to me. Would be best to make this a proper 'thing', rather than some jury-rigged half measure.
