To the above, I kinda like that there is no difference in the AST particularly, it is still very dress robe, and it still has the face veil which is kinda sweet.
I actually really like all the new gear! I personally think that WHM could at some point do with a more "wild" or "natural" aesthetic considering the feel of the job and it's lore, but of course I get the feeling that this armor is very HWesque and communicates that in all the designs. I am a SMN main, so I am really happy because one-shoulderness is happening for us, and the armor really has a great old FF feel too!
Another set I really liked that seems to be getting flack for nothing, is the awesome BRD set! I have simultaneously heard that is too bard like or too desert archer like...I think it just plain looks awesome, and that the weapon is suuuuper cool
