Alternately, there's the transfer method. As long as the character has been around for at least three days, you can pay for a transfer at.... $18, I believe it is? This transfer lets you move as many characters as you want from one server to another. So, you could make one character and transfer it to Balmung, or a full eight and bring them ALL over! The transfer bypasses the creation lock entirely, so it's definitely the easiest - although it costs money.
Yeah I was def up until 5 am last night trying to make my character . or rather, looking for that window to make them. Do I literally need to just sit there refreshing until I get lucky if I do it that way?
