The closer to the edge or base hand is the one that powers while the farther one guides.
Am I remembering incorrectly in game?
It'd be a lot of fun watching people fight rp more at least imo if they exploited little tidbits like laterality in a battle. Brute strength is useless if the powering hand gets cut across and so on and so on.
It'd also be a good lecture to those IC teachers teaching their students how to weild a weapon.
