Leanne would almost certainly be the heroine. An upbeat, cheerful girl with the desire to explore the world, righting the wrongs she finds during her adventures, making long lasting friendships while in pursuit of her unique dream: To explore the entirety of the world she lives in.
Of course as it normally goes with those games, an ancient evil is slowly unearthed by a faction of evil-doers midst her worldly travels, and out of a sense of duty, she decides to stop them with her group of friends.
The closest character to this idea would be Bartz Klauser, protagonist from FFV; a simple wanderer with no bigger ambitions other than the simple wish to travel and to explore before finding himself in the middle of strange machinations. I'd say it is a perfectly fit x3
As for job, she would most likely be a ranger, although thief and red mage(fangirling) are also possible options!
