No, it has nothing to do with your SO. It's probably happened to alot of people but no one bothered to look at their ring after they got the mount. It's happened to me as well, but I thought it was a glitch and would clear up after maintenance.
It is a glitch, but it has not cleared up after several maintenances. The person Obtaining Signature is an actual player, and I've actually seen some of their items on the Marketboard.
The weird thing is, I've been keeping an eye on 2 items on the market for a week now, the bearskin rug being one, and the same sellers have not changed all this time. They have been undercutting each other. The two items I am watching were being sold by some person whose name started Reil, it was a long name and I didn't memorize it. Anyway, NOW, the items on the board have both changed to Obtaining Signature right after maintenance, just like yours and mine rings.
It's almost like when you have a stack of something you made in your bag and get a stack someone else made and put it in your bag, it changes the name of the other persons stack to your name. Basically, any 2nd added stack gets merged and the name replaced by the stack you had first.
I dunno why the rings do that though. I didn't get bonded a 2nd time.
