Hey everyone, figured I'd poke my head in here, say hi, and see what's going on a bit.
I'm relatively new to the MMORPG world these days after taking a very long break since my last, Everquest along with table stuff, AoHell chatroom RP and more going back into the early-mid '90s. For the past year+ I've been an avid RPer in Wildstar and been enjoying the community there a ton. However, there's times when you just want to branch out a bit and do some more things. So, like many other WSRP folks, figured I'd make FFXIV my second game and see how things went.
Overall, I definitely fall into the medium/heavy RP area of things as it's one of my main focuses with MMOs these days. Most of my characters tend to be a little unhinged and/or a handful to deal with. Don't know why that is, but it's always pretty fun in the end. Right now I'm still just getting a feel for the world and getting ideas for my characters stories, but welcome any RP as I stumble about too.
I currently have a Miqo'te and Au Ra on Gilgamesh as well as characters on Siren and Faerie. Still haven't fully decided what to do with Balmung yet, but a transfer could happen for a couple of chars, we'll see as I still want to get more story down and digest some of the lore before doing that.
So that's that on the game front. Outside of that I run my own website dedicated to haunted attraction news and reviews as well as some convention things and some Jpop culture, anime, gaming and cosplay stuff mixed in. Typically I'm a night owl, so my most active hours are from about 5-6pm until about 9-10am. The joys of working third shift, right?
Anyway, that's enough about me, definitely looking forward to meeting some of you and getting into the RP!
