Spoiler1: What’s your OC’s biggest insecurity and how would they react if someone pointed it out to them?
Corelyn is actually rather insecure about her sense of fashion. She has a clear line between form and function and if someone informs her that she's crossing that line in one way or another, she gets rather upset.
2:Â If your OC wants to buy a firearm, what it might be for?
Why would she buy a firearm? She'd simply make one herself! As for why... who knows. Firing practice. Self-defense. The fact that it's just what she does.
3:Â Does your OC behave differently around different people, if so with whom and how?
Corelyn can be particularly aloof and evasive around people she doesn't know or trust inherently. However, she opens up fairly quickly when she learns that people are good and trustworthy.
4:Â Would your OC want to involve themselves in humanitarian work ? If yes, then for what? If not, then why not?
Corelyn attempts to do this constantly, by creating new bits and bobs in the magitek field that serve various helpful purposes. Though her speciality growing up was in weaponry and tools of war, she has branched out through her life in order to create new and more helpful things.
5:Â How would your OC generally react to someone being verbally abusive towards them for no apparent reason?
It depends on the situation/person. If it's someone she doesn't know in a place with which she's unfamiliar, she will wilt and start firing off apologies. If it's someone she knows or somewhere she feels generally safe, she will fire back, typically in some kind of psychoanalysis in order to disarm the person before trying to break down why they're flying off the handle.
6:Â Does your OC have a realistic image of their own intelligence?
Corelyn is actually a bit too modest for her own good. She's, as it has been put elsewhere, a "total screaming genius" but often plays herself and her accomplishments down.
7:Â Does your OC have any irrational phobias?
Corelyn has a massive fear of the undead. If anything even so much as looks undead, she will lose her mind.
8: How is/was your OC’s relationship with their parents?
Corelyn was an only child, and her parents' pride and joy. She was given everything the relatively well-off family could give her, and, until her desertion after Carteneau, they were very close. She still keeps several letters from them that she had while serving in the VIIth.
9:Â Does your OC feel a pressure to achieve or are they content and calm with doing what they can at the moment?
"Don't waste your time, or time will waste you" is a phrase she keeps close to her heart. She must always be better herself or something else, or she feels like she's wasting precious time.
10:Â Does your OC guard their emotions by being tough? If not how would they?
Not typically. Corelyn is a bit panic-prone, so she gets more unnerved than anything. If she were to try, it would typically involve pointing firearms at people.
11: How would your OC react to hearing they’re adopted?
It would certainly confuse her. She'd heard all of her life that she looks very much like her parents, and was, for the longest time, very proud of that. It would likely be met with a dismissal.
12:Â What is one of the most primary things your OC feels that is missing from their life?
Corelyn misses her family. She loves Garlemald, but hates the dark path on which it's been set since before she was even born, now that she knows the true cost of its fixation on conquest.
13:Â What kind of situations does your OC avoid the most?
Typically, social situations with people she doesn't know. She is a social butterfly with friends, but when it comes to outsiders, she'd rather be invisible.
14:Â If your OC gets into a fight with their best friend, would they wait for their friend to make up with them, or would they try to make up with their friend?
Corelyn's friends are incredibly important to her. She would do anything to make sure they stay by her side. She would likely beg for forgiveness if she had to.
15:Â Does your OC consider themselves a good person?
She desperately, desperately wants to. The weight of the things she'd done while in the VIIth figuratively kills her daily. She wants to do the right thing, but she is still trying to figure out who is right, let alone what.
16:Â Is your OC good at giving others validation of their feelings and making them feel understood?
Sometimes. Corelyn has trouble speaking to others in "layman's" terms. She is often overly-complicated in her manner of speech, and can come off as an insufferable know-it-all.
17:Â Does your OC suffer of any mental health issues?
Corelyn has a deal of PTSD and anxiety after having gone through the the war between Garlemald and Eorzea, surviving the Calamity, and generally having just dealt with near-constant culture shock and paranoia for years since fleeing to Eorzea.
18:Â What kind of intrapersonal values does your OC have? (values about their self, what makes them feel like a valid person)
Corelyn knows she is a brilliant inventor and scholar. As much as she doesn't like to admit her strengths for fear it will make her seem vain or that she may overestimate herself, she very much is. She also, as said before, desperately wants to believe that she is a good person.
19: What boosts your OC’s confidence the most?
Aiouxdaux Beaumont. His praise of her accomplishments and inventions, and his steadfast friendship, never ceases to bring her a sense of validation and safety.
20:Â Does your OC hurt others often unintentionally? If yes, how?
Not that she is aware of, though if she does, it is because she makes people who suspect her of being, know that she is, Garlean a deal of anxiety.
21:Â Does your OC hurt others often intentionally? If yes, how?
She tries very hard not to.
22:Â How does your OC usually show affection? Are they openly romantic or more restricted with their affectionate emotions?
Corelyn is rather open with affection, though that method of display varies. She chides and teases some friends, but treats others with a great deal of "visible" respect. These can alternate quickly. Romantically, she is the type to hang off of a lover's arm at every possible opportunity. She can be a little clingy.
23:Â Does your OC tend to hide something about their personality/essence when meeting new people? If yes, what?
She is Garlean and attempts to hide everything she can about it. She wears a patch on her forehead to hide her third eye and styles her hair - which is dyed to make it less of its natural platinum-blonde - to obscure even that patch. She has studied Eorzean customs and speech since before her arrival, and goes through great pains to try and hide her accent, as well.
24:Â How would your OC react if they got humiliated by someone in a group of people?
She would likely run off to try and be by herself.
25:Â How would your OC process the grief caused by the death of a loved one?
She is used to death, sadly. Though it's often been people she hasn't known well or particularly cared for, she has come to accept that it's just a fact of life. However, the death of someone close to her would certainly rattle her nonetheless, and she might lock herself away with her work for a bit to try and distract herself.
26:Â What is the most intense thing your OC has been battling with?
She's killed a lot of otherwise innocent people during the war between Garlemald and Eorzea and she hates herself for it. When she did it, she wanted to; she believed them ignorant savages, just as she was taught, until she learned better of it. Now, the guilt haunts her daily.
27:Â Does your OC practise any kind of escapism? If yes, what kind?
Corelyn likes to immerse herself in her inventions and research. It helps her feel like she's doing a good thing for Eorzea, and that she may one day atone for all the death she'd wrought.
28:Â How would your OC react if a bully stole their lunch money in high school?
She'd likely try and outwit them before anything could even happen. If unsuccessful, she'd likely just sigh and go without. No need to stir up unnecessary conflict.
29:Â How does your OC behave on the face of a conflict?
She keeps deadly calm and attempts to be entirely logical. That is, she tries until she gets panicky. Then, she tends to lose all concept of logic. However, that can take a bit, depending on the situation.
30:Â What makes your OC defensive quickest?
Anyone talking trash on Garlemald's technological advances, and its people's reliance on them will cause her to get a little irritated. The same goes for general ignorance of magitek, such as labelling it evil or anything of the sort.
Corelyn is actually rather insecure about her sense of fashion. She has a clear line between form and function and if someone informs her that she's crossing that line in one way or another, she gets rather upset.
2:Â If your OC wants to buy a firearm, what it might be for?

Spoiler1: What’s your OC’s biggest insecurity and how would they react if someone pointed it out to them?
Dail'a is actually rather insecure about his name. To him, it means nothing. it's empty. Just a mark of who bore him - the last vestige of a life left behind.
2:Â If your OC wants to buy a firearm, what it might be for?
It's loud. it goes boom. Why not? Though, in all likelihood, those would be the only reasons. Dail'a is too much of an in-your-face fighter to go for ranged weaponry. He'd likely just try and pick up firearms for sport.
3:Â Does your OC behave differently around different people, if so with whom and how?
The only person Dail'a tends to behave differently around would be Aya Donovan, his girlfriend. While typically brash, outspoken, and cocky, he is rather soft-hearted and shows that side of himself with her. It makes for disgustingly adorable scenes for passersby.
4:Â Would your OC want to involve themselves in humanitarian work ? If yes, then for what? If not, then why not?

5:Â How would your OC generally react to someone being verbally abusive towards them for no apparent reason?

7:Â Does your OC have any irrational phobias?
Dail'a fears losing loved ones. Leaving his sister and tribe was the hardest thing he'd ever done, though he won't say it outright. He fears for his sister's well-being every day, and does for Aya, as well. He tries not to get close to people for this reason.
8: How is/was your OC’s relationship with their parents?
Dail'a was not close with either of his parents. His father was just another "breeding male" in his tribe, and his mother was a busy tribe leader, constantly keeping the small Keeper tribe of about thirty-some on the move throughout the Shroud and Coerthas (until its inevitable snowmageddon), or grooming his sister Gan'drae to be the next leader in her stead. As a male, he was viewed as a disappointment in the radically-misandrist tribe.

14:Â If your OC gets into a fight with their best friend, would they wait for their friend to make up with them, or would they try to make up with their friend?
It depends on the nature of the fight. If Dail'a thinks that he is right, he will not back down until given absolute proof that he is. His tendency to abandon things he's deemed as failures also has seen people hurt in the past, though he makes a point to forget entirely about those.
21:Â Does your OC hurt others often intentionally? If yes, how?
He only intentionally hurts the people he thinks have it coming to them.
22:Â How does your OC usually show affection? Are they openly romantic or more restricted with their affectionate emotions?
