"In following with the history of many, I am very blessed to have a story passed down from generations before. Lady Cliodhna, would you be so kind as to share your tale now?"
Cliodhna Eoghan nods at Jancis, climbing down from her perch a tad slowly and walks to the center, clearing her throat a moment before speaking. Though soft, the echo loud enough to carry her words.

"I'll admit...I Was rather young when I was forced from my home. I may not have the memories some of you have or they may not be as clear...But I do have a story my mother once told me when I was small and...Well Frustrated to the point of a tantrum in my lack of skills she was trying to pass on. I was unable to break a board at the time, I had tried so many times and gotten so angry; I grabbed it from her and flung it far as I could before running off. She found me later; pouting and tearing up grass still frustrated. I had expected her to yell at me; but instead she started to tell me this story..."
♣♣♣
Long ago in the hills of Gyr, lived a lone monk named Strongfist, He had two young students both opposite in nearly every way but as close as brothers. They were eager for their training and followed their masters orders, no matter the request. They grew strong and proud, both absolute in their training and their devotion to Rhalgr.
Years passed and both boys were of a point Strongfist deemed they needed to travel the wilderness to hone their skills; though one pupil, know as Fafnir for his strong heart, protested greatly. These protests fell on deaf ears as their master ordered them to go out as far as they could to train or never return again.
The pair quickly gathered their things and set out, traveling and training as they went. Living off the land and furthering eachother's skill. After what felt like moons, they were suddenly approached by a stranger in their current camp. Fafnir welcomed their unexpected guest but wary of them all the same. Though they were no mark or symbol identifying them as one of their brothers; he could feel a power well within the stranger.Â
They shared a meal and polite conversation but too soon the strangers intentions were known; like lighting were his strikes as he took both on at the same time, seemingly enjoying the brutal attack with a sick passion. Fafnir's friend was quick to fall but life still clung to him, seeing this enraged the boy and he struck back harder to the stranger. It was in the midst of this battle Fanfir felt the surge of power; similar to his chakra but different. Staring into the eyes of the stranger it was clear he had felt the same. Sensing the tide of the fight had quickly shifted, the stranger tried his best to hold the advantage but was quickly overthrown by this new power welling in Fafnir, a darkly tainted chakra. Near killing him, Fafnir used his rage and fueled it into his punches leaving the stranger a mangled mess on the forest floor.

Gathering up his brother, Fafnir dragged him back to their home, expecting a reprimand or confusion from their master in their current state but instead they arrive to find the home in shambles and Strongfist dead on the floor. The unknown rage again swelled in Fafnir, causing his dark chakra to manifest as he swore vengeance on who had done this. Leaving his oath brother to care for himself; Fafnir struck out once more intent to chase own the murderer of their master.Â
For months he traveled with no word of who was behind it, carrying the rage inside him and close to his heart the entire time. Then as fate would have it; Ubel made it a point to seek out Fafnir and openly admitted killing his master, lips pulled into a sneer as he did so. This caused Fafnir to fly into a rage, barreling down on Ubel as he egged him on; encouraging their fight. Time stretched on as they fought neither one giving an inch, the ground below their feet shook as their strikes clashed with the shattering noise of thunder. Finally as if satisfied; Ubel released a powerful attack, reducing the ground to rubble and leaving Fafnir in a giant crater, laughing as he departed.
In time, Fafnir was able to make his way from the scene of their battle and home once more to his brother, but something had changed. He had carried and relied on his destructive power for so long, he was losing the light of his chakra from his teachings. Arriving at their Strongfist's home, Fafnir found his brother in the yard training. Intent to center himself, he challenged him to a friendly match, but all too soon that force of destruction took hold once more of Fafnir. His hits landing hard, striking points vital as his mind raged it's own war. This was his brother! He shouldn't be fighting with so much hatred in his heart towards him, the intent to kill should be quelled. Not wishing to kill the only form of family he has left; Fafnir inner struggle was quickly shown to outwardly, stopping the match.
Sitting in the dirt; he recounts everything that had happen since taking up his quest for vengeance. Deeply troubled by this, his brother slowly unties a strip of crimson cloth he had been wearing on his writs. It was a piece torn from their master's garments and tying it around Funfair's own wrist, reminds him of their most important lesson. "Unfocused anger, mindless aggression does nothing but destroy the self. Focuses it and you'll destroy that which plagues you." Fafnir nodded grimly, a new-found resolve to focuses his feelings toward his task of avenging Strongfist.
"At the time I didn't understand it, but my mother was trying to explain that if I continued to give into my frustrations, it would only continue hindering my attempts..."
"There are many things in all our lives that deserve destruction in one form or another, don't let that anger towards them consume you, focus it and remove the problem."
Cliodhna softly trails off, nodding once more to Jancis before slipping back into the crowd near Erik. Zachary clapped loudly and cheered. "Go Clio!" Cliodhna hides her face one Erik's chest, shoulders shaking slightly.
