Hello just moved over to Balmung recently in the hopes of getting into some RP. 
--MMORPG background
I have been playing MMOs for about nine years now. I started out with WoW at the tail end of Vanilla and really got into it with BC. I stayed in WoW until the beginning of MoP and just didn't feel it there anymore. While there though I was an avid raider, PvPer, and guild leader. After that I floated around for a bit delving into numerous MMOs. I have tried SWTOR, Rift, ArchAge, ESO, GW2, and NWO. The longest ones I was in were Rift and ESO after WoW, but alas neither really could capture my attention long. Almost thought I was done with MMOs until I stumbled across FF14 about a year ago and haven't looked back since.
--RP experience
Not a lot really. Its something I haven't done seriously in awhile. I used to do a lot of text based RP and of course the father of RPGs Dungeons and Dragons, but in MMOs not so much. I dabbled in it with Rift and ESO. In Rift I was on Faeblight and would join some random rp events, and ESO I was in a RP Merc guild but the scheduling of events they did very rarely lined up with my schedule. Hoping to get into it more here since I do miss rping, and hey it gives more life to a game I love.
--Character ideas/info
Just transferred over a character to Balmung that is new so I didn't have to worry about gil cap, but alas still a bit undecided on a few things, and need to change the name since I originally did it with a different type of character so trying to get things in place how I like them. Thinking possibly a Keeper of the Moon CNJ/BRD (But play style wise I like SCH so much more so we will see). Still brain storming and any help explaining names that don't fit with naming conventions would be great as I am kind of attached to at least the first name.
Honestly still in the beginning stages on this part.
--How did you learn about the coalition?
Both on the official forums and always running into it through google.
--What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy?
I want to eventually be a medium to heavy rper
--Anything from real life you'€™re comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc)
I'm an avid gamer, I love anime. Marvel superheroes rock as do their tv shows and movies. Oh and you can bet I will be camping out the night of the release for Star Wars Episode VII
