--MMORPG background
I came over from WoW, where I played for about five years. I also ran an Academy-themed guild there for three years on my Horde character. It was pretty sucessful and our events were always well recieved. I left because content just dried up for me, and I have been a long time fan of Final Fantasy so it seemed like the right choice. I'm not sure if the guild is still going or not, though I hope it is. I also dabbled in SWTOR and GW2 before FFXIV. I enjoyed GW2 moreso for it's uniqueness to other MMOs (I mean c'mon they don't even have healers!!), though I love Star Wars as a franchise I think Bioware could have done a lot better.
--RP experience
Right, so as I mentioned before I was the leader of an RP guild in WoW for three years, which I am hoping to bring over to FFXIV eventually if there isn't something like that already. Before WoW, I suppose it was tabletop for me. My brothers and cousins were huge D&D players, so I kinda got sucked into that. I still play occassionally, but I can rarely find the time with college. I also kinda prefer FFXIV over tabletop now. I have also RP'ed in SWTOR and to a lesser extent GW2.
--Character ideas/info
My character is Noelia Cleriseaux. She is from Ishgard and is a Scholar (in an academic sense) hoping to become a professor. She's currently in her mid twenties. Her current class in CNJ (I have literally just started her) and I hope to progress to WHM and/or SCH. While I'm levelling I will probably pick up SMN as well. IC'ly she will be a Scholar.
--How did you learn about the coalition?
I just kinda googles FFXIV roleplay forum...
--What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy?
I would like to be a medium-heavy roleplayer.
--Anything from real life you'€™re comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc)
I'm in my second year of college (will be taking a gap year next year) finishing off my L3 in Horse Management. I work at a riding schoo/livery yard. I have a beautiful 3yr old Andalusian mare called Noel (she was a christmas present sort of). My hobbies include reading, gaming, writing, music, horse riding and subsequently showjumping.
