This may have been mentioned by someone prior (there's a bunch on this topic, and I'm glad to see that), but I took the DRK skillset and armor and what have you, replaced the edgy darkness with elements instead.
Now I know many people won't like that, and might consider it lore-breaking, but it's not like my character runs around casting fireballs at people with her greatsword. It works very well with her narrative, and she rarely reveals anything elemental to anyone. He clan knows about it, and that's pretty much it.
