Er, old housemate goes to comic con, meets girl, finds she plays XIV. He digs her and starts playing too. They invite their friends and form a big FC (narshe red wings).
The company has 160-odd members all from around the UK and we have FC meets now and then.

Sometime last October I was the only Lalafell in the FC and I got a lot of attention.
My future wife joined as a Lala girl and I started behaving like a baby older brother, getting jealous and sulking...
I was very fond of her though, and marriage was a feature to be released right around the corner, so everyone wanted the two of us to get married... and we talked about this for months... playing games to learn about one another.

December came. She's a dork, I'm a dork. We're both home alone for new years eve having a good time talking, so I propose at midnight and she accepts.
...but then nothing happened for 3 months. Marriage had come out and neither of us were very fond of talking about it. In truth I'd actually become rather fond of someone else but she didn't feel the same way.
On March 8th the FC had their first meet up in a gaming bar in London. First time I'd seen her out of game and she was wonderful (to say the very least, some love at first sight thing).
We sat down and talked about marriage, I told her about why I'd not talked about it and the two of us were just very open about our feelings that night.
At the end of the night we sat on the floor, me lying against a piano, she resting her head on my shoulder, the two of us holding hands. I've always been a nervous piece of shit with anxiety through the roof. I spent half of the night smoking outside, trying to get away from people--- but she made me want to better myself, because for that moment we shared I was the happiest I'd been in 5 years, so that was the day I stopped smoking (very proud to say I haven't smoked since).
Since then we've met up occasionally and she has really opened up my world.
