This is me, as well! Well, sort of.
I have nothing against joining an RP Free Company (I join RP guilds in other games all the time!) but I would still like to experience in-game content as well, so it'd have to be one that RPs but also puts some (doesn't have to be much!) interest into the actual game itself.
Great idea in theory, I just haven't had a good experience with it in practice.
It's hard to find a group that is both into heavier RP that I prefer and cares about EG/can do EG, or a group that is good at EG that doesn't do just super light RP. It seems like when you choose one, you sacrifice another.
