But I didn't start writing to pity you, but to encourage you. It is true that some people will grip, moan, and complain about every little detail, but they aren't everyone. I personally really enjoyed the event and I've met someone that I will most likely continue to roleplay with for a very long time. I think that even us, the ones that did show up, owe you a great deal of thanks and we should voice that more often. It is far too common for people to enjoy an event and then say nothing about it and while I don't believe we are wrong for not saying something I still believe that we should give credit where it is due; it's the least we can do. I've been there and I know how discouraging it is, but if only one good thing comes out of it you have still affected two people's lives with positivity. I created Wayfarers based on this thought. I don't expect it to be anything large or important, but if I can help a handful of people then it's more than doing nothing. We need people like you to do these things, to bear the weight of others depending on you and you handled it very well and professionally.
All in all, after all my ramblings, I just want to say thank you for a wonderful event. I'll be looking forward to your next one once you take a well deserved break. Take care, and I hope that this provides at least a little bit of hope and fulfillment to your day.
