You can do it and it can be tasty, but why bother when the animal is worth so much more as a breeder, mount or pack animal? The only case i can think of where it wouldnt be seen as wasteful is if the animal is decrepit or maimed such that she/he cannot perform. 「蒼気砲」を使わざるを得ない!
