I find the lack of wheeled vehicles and interesting bit of worldbuilding though. Especially after the calamity. What's the point of rebuilding all these roads when they could all get knocked aside at the next calamity.Â
Makes sense they stick with chocobos (who can handle rough terrain and poor roads) and are pushing for airships to avoid the issue altogether.
