I think you could do this with a few accommodations.
You need a party to run the dungeons that's a practical thing and people can still help ooc.
You want to RP, so people can play as themself, a souped up version of themself or an NPC. Rationalising how a character gets an epix battery shoved in them is upto them and could be a whole thing in itself.
You also want to open up the RP for others story too. Each can take/rationalise what happens from the shared experience.
I'm in EU timezone and would be up to help. I generally play low power but am happy to kick it straight to ludicrous speed.
