I am personally on the fence with it. I'd have loved if there was more to it than what we have, but then I also really just want there to be more lore everywhere. I guess one thing that speaks in it's favor is that the music gets quieter when you walk away from it, so it isn't just "This music is now somehow everywhere"
From what I have seen of reactions within my FC have been mostly embracing it, no one questioning the big how & why's as such, but just accepting that there is now a thing there and it makes music. Personally it's become kind of like time for me - not mentioning it when that is a possibility seems safer.Â
A reaction I could think my way to, is if someone plays a travelling/performing bard (that embraces them as canon) they could mutter about their trade dying thanks to modern inventions.
