While Scarlet Johannson is quite pretty, I just don't think she fits the role of what I would be looking for in a GitS movie. Nothing about says "mass-produced generic female" either, which is what GitS Stand Alone Complex would leads us to believe. So....I've got low expectations. It can't possibly be as bad as say, the Dragon Ball movies, but I'm also not expecting it to raise the bar of anime -> live action movies made in the US.
