I think this could be really cool. Imagine if suddenly one of the out-of-the-way taverns is suddenly accosted by vile brigands trying to make off with the till, or someone making a strategic hit on a delivery of Buscarron's best hooch.
The only thing you'll want to be wary of is that Grindstone rules sometimes make confrontations a bit, uh... extended and if you're looking for something to move along at a brisker pace (we usually got 3-4 hours every night across 4-5 rounds of combat) I'd suggest revising the dice system. It might also be worth it to eschew dice altogether, and just roll with the story.
This has like, a Rainbow Six: Siege: The RPening sort of vibe to it, and I like that. I like it a lot.
