Since one piece of gill is just that, 1 gill. That means you need to carry seven hundred pieces on you for a simple meal. Ain't nobody got time to count at that much for an Eft Salad. So for me personally, 1 gill equals $1.00. However if someone charges me 700 gill for a burger, i just roll with it and mark it down to what I think was a fair price and I leave it at that.
