People have all sorts of strange colors in Eorzea, and there are techniques for changing them in the lore. As for your affinity for lightning magicks, you could just say that your character is simply more comfortable with shifting their magicks to that element. Or, you could say they've spent a lot of time in an area with a heavy lightning aspect, or possibly learned to use magic there in the first place.
